Windows Live Messenger is an instant messaging service. Windows Live Messenger is also popularly known as MSN Messenger. This client service can be used in Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Mobile. The recent version of Windows Live Messenger called Windows Live Messenger 8.5 was released on November 6, 2007. Other protocol client can also connect to this service. Many changes were made in this version like the colors were improved and new icons were introduced.
The final version of Windows Live Messenger was released on June 19, 2006. Windows Live Messenger 8.0 is widely used these days. Although in this version no changes were made. The fresh version of this 8.0 was introduced in on August 10, 2006. Instant messaging helped the people to communicate by sitting in any corner of the world. Many instant messaging system helps the user to check the online status. Communication through instant messaging is consider much easier compared to other messaging system. The phase of communication has changed with the coming of various software which has made the communication system much easier.
