There are certain rules and regulations regarding the way in which the users of the instant message sending technologies, and the users have to follow these rules so that the integrity and safety of the users themselves are maintained. Use of offensive languages is not at all allowed. In recent years, the teenagers are found to be offensive in this respect. Promoting a hate mail or violence inspiring negative issues is also forbidden. You are not expected to type in the cap lock since words in capital letters are thought to be indicating at a shout, and shouting in the chat rooms is discouraged.

The children who visit the chat rooms are very easy targets of the cyber predators since the children can be impressed easily by giving a bit more attention. Therefore the parents of the children should constantly keep themselves aware of the whereabouts of their children, so far as their chat room activities are concerned.
